Managing Director: Thomas Zimmermann
Thomas Zimmermann trained as an electrical engineer with particular emphasis on data processing and began working for TSG in Customer Care in 1992. He then worked in several departments and positions in the company before becoming Managing Director. He has an enormous amount of technical knowledge, which he can recall with amazing speed. He and his staff aim to achieve short information routes, simple, direct solutions and clear communication on all sides "to provide an interface between the expert jargon of the IT specialists and the requirements of the customer". His motto is: Work efficiently and achieve a lot – but with passion and motivated employees.
Service Center: Frank Buchmüller
Frank Buchmüller started working for TSG in 1995 as an Incident Analyst and has been in charge of the TSG Service Centre since 2005. He has developed it into an efficient 24/7 service provider – with a clear customer focus and fast action and reaction times. A graduate engineer from Bonn, he has now settled near Cologne. He likes the staff in his department to produce results: "We make everything possible for our clients. And there is always a solution – preferably without long discussions!"
Central Services: Klaus Wollermann
Klaus Wollermann is a graduate electrical engineer and began working for ARAL/BP in 1991 in the field of POS system development. In 1998, he took over the petrol station management systems support department at TSG and has been an authorised officer of the company since 2004. In 2006, he took over the new department Central Services and worked on setting up and expanding 2nd level support in Europe. He is a team player who likes to roll up his sleeves and get on with the job – and who always attaches great importance to personal satisfaction in his working life. This includes empowering his own staff, "to make my life easier!"
Retail Solution Center: Paul Eastman
He is the one who started his career from the bottom up at a petrol station. In his native UK, he worked as a petrol station manager for BP and therefore knows exactly what happens at grass-roots level. He then worked in management at BP before joining TSG. Ideal preparation for his goal of bringing the right people together. One of the things he likes about Germany is the structured working environment and work culture, which make family life easier. He finds the atmosphere at TSG congenial, an optimum environment for the best possible customer support, and enjoys the direct personal contact with colleagues: "I’m a manager, but I’m still a person!"
Operations: Werner Freitag
The department Operations with all its diversity such as training, logistics with its perfectly fit customer services but also internal teams like IT, finance and HR is being managed by the mathematics graduate Werner Freitag. Before joining TSG, he worked for a south-German software service provider, finally having responsibility for the manufacturing division throughout Germany. He values fair dealings and frank and open discussions when working with staff and customers. He keeps calm in almost any situation and his motto is: "Nothing is impossible! Except standard German."
Business Development: Malte Stewen
"Create instead of control" is the motto of Malte Stewen from Hamburg. He studied in Cologne and Maastricht and has a doctorandus degree and an MSc in International Business. In 2007 he decided to join TSG because, as a business graduate not so closely involved with the technical subject matter, he likes to deliver services in this particular field of petrol stations. He aims for a real sense of achievement in his work with his colleagues, i.e. initiating processes and getting things moving. The job should also be fun so that it is possible to be happy more than just once a month.
